Create a Google review QR code
Insert the review link and receive a print-ready card for the counter, invoice or vehicle - as an A6 standee, PNG with 300 dpi or SVG. Free, without registration, completely in the browser.
QR library: qrcode generator (MIT, Kazuhiko Arase), integrated locally.
Wo steht mein Bewertungslink?
- Open Google business profile (app or business.google.com).
- “Customers” → “Request reviews” – this is the release link, e.g. g.page/r/…/review.
- Without profile access: Place ID in Place ID Finder Look up a maps link with place_id: It is automatically converted here.
Printing results in exactly the card below in A6 (105 × 148 mm) - the format fits into standard table stands and frames 10 × 15 cm. The PNG is 1240 × 1748 px (300 dpi) for printing companies. The SVG only contains the code for your own layouts.
Hold your cell phone camera on the code
Preview of the A6 card – it is printed exactly like this.
Get your rating card in three steps
Copy in the company profile under “Customers → Request reviews”. If there is only one Maps link with place_id, the tool converts it automatically.
Enter company name and one line. Error Correction Select Q if the card is printed, laminated, or handled frequently.
Print as A6 or send the 300 dpi PNG to the printer. Before placing, test with two cell phones from the planned distance.
Why the review link decides the difference
A QR code on the invoice is only as good as its destination. When customers land on the company website, they first have to tap “Reviews” and then “Write a review” – three steps in which most people abandon. A Review link On the other hand, opens directly the rating form with stars and text field, and this link encodes this page.
- • Directly into the form: Maps links with place_id: are automatically converted to a rating link.
- • Short links preferred: The shorter the address, the coarser and more robust the code pattern becomes. A g.page/r/…/review-Link is ideal, long parameters are not.
- • Static remains valid: The link is in the code, no redirect service in between. As long as the Google profile exists, the card works.
Where the map really brings scans
The timing matters more than the design. It is best to ask directly after a successful performance - not weeks later in a circular email.
The strongest place right after the job is done. As a PDF with a link, as a paper receipt with a print.
A6 display where customers are waiting anyway: two seconds of attention is enough.
Craftsmanship, delivery, service: The code on the vehicle or on the T-shirt works because it is visible at the moment of contact.
As a back. Anyone who takes a card with them is interested - the link is then immediately at hand.
After the stay or meal. Without a room number or table number in the link, the code remains static and printable.
There as a text link, not as a QR code: no one can scan on the desktop.
We describe suitable operating modes in detail on the industry pages: Crafts, Gastro and Hotel & Tourism.
What Google allows – and what it doesn’t
- • Ask for a review after the performance – Google describes this link itself in the help.
- • Make the request to all customers the same, regardless of the expected opinion.
- • Respond objectively to any assessment, including critical ones.
- • Print the QR code on account, counter, vehicle or card.
- • Incentives: discount, gift or raffle against a review.
- • Steering: only ask satisfied customers (“Review Gating”) or intercept negative voices.
- • Bought, exchanged or self-written reviews.
- • Use reviews for counter-assessments or as a means of pressure.
Violations cost reviews, rankings and, if repeated, the profile. The safest way is unspectacular: ask every customer immediately, over and over again, and answer.
How many reviews are enough?
There is no fixed threshold. In the Maps results, every customer can immediately see how many reviews the businesses in the area have - this is how they compare. Therefore: as many as the direct competition, with an average over 4.0. After that, consistency is more important than the total number: three reviews per month seem more lively than thirty all at once two years ago, because Google and customers see the date.
Realistically, the response rate is in the low single-digit percentage range. So 100 cards a month are more likely to yield a handful of new reviews than thirty. This is not an argument against the card, but rather for a place where it can be seen without asking.
Will my information remain private?
Yes. The QR library runs in your browser, the review link and company name are not transferred to Websters and are not saved. The code is static and contains no counting: there is no scan tracking, so there is no data about the people who scan. As with every page view, server logs are generated (IP address, time, user agent); they do not contain any input from this tool.
Review QR Code Questions
Copy the review link in the Google company profile (Customers → Request reviews), paste it at the top, enter the company name and print the finished A6 card. The code is then stored statically in the card and remains valid as long as your Google profile exists.
In the company profile: “Customers” → “Request reviews”. There, Google shows a release link in the form g.page/r/…/review, often with a QR code. Without access to the profile: Look up the place ID in Google's Place ID Finder and form search.google.com/local/writerreview?placeid=… - this generator also automatically recognizes a place_id in a Maps link.
It works, but costs taps: The Maps link opens the profile with a map, opening times and photos. Only there does the path via “Reviews” lead to the form. The review link skips this and opens the form directly - with a code on the invoice, three taps saved is the difference between one review and none.
Yes. The generator is free, does not require an account and does not limit the number. You can print the card as A6 or send the PNG to a print shop at 300 dpi. There is no watermark and no trial period.
Yes. The template is A6 (105 × 148 mm) and fits into standard table stands and frames 10 × 15 cm. For long-term use, select error correction Q or H, have it printed matte and test from the planned distance. The PNG has 1240 × 1748 px, so 300 dpi in A6 - that's enough for printing.
It is usually too small, has too little contrast, is too shiny or lacks the white quiet zone. Rule of thumb: Scan distance divided by ten gives the minimum size - at 30 cm distance that is 3 cm. Do not invert, do not distort and always check with iPhone and Android in real light.
Yes, that's what this tool is about, and Google itself documents the link intended for this purpose. Incentives such as discounts or raffles, filtering out dissatisfied customers and purchased reviews are not permitted. Violations cost reviews, visibility and, if repeated, the profile.
Yes, replying is better than having it deleted. A factual, short answer in a few days shows readers that criticism is being heard - that often decides more than the criticism itself. Do not discuss, do not ask for counter-reviews and do not write customer data in the answer.
Google cites relevance, distance and popularity as factors; Reviews have an impact on awareness and have a strong impact on the click rate. Practical rule for local businesses: at least as many ratings as the direct competition and an average of over 4.0. After that, consistency counts – a few new reviews on an ongoing basis are better than a boost years ago.
No. The code is static, the destination address is directly in the pattern - there is no redirection that counts and therefore no tracking. If you want to measure scans, you need a dynamic code through a provider; then the durability of your card depends on its service.
The map PNG at 300 dpi for direct use, or the SVG of the code if an agency typeset the map itself. SVG is the best choice for typesetting programs: vector remains sharp at any size. Make a sample print and scan it before printing.
Yes. We set up a review link, print template, landing page and a process in which reviews are not left to chance - including templates for invoices and email signatures upon request. Inquiries via the contact form or by telephone.
